Week 3 Term 1 2015

We are at the stage now with our wire projects that some of the students are starting to complete their work.  We have some amazing necklaces, bird feeders, vases, bracelets & wall art.  Students are starting to use the correct names for tools & using technology vocabulary.  Well done.

Week 2. Term 1. 2015.

It has been great to meet all of the students from AIS & the client schools.  The main focus of the week has been using tools to manipulate wire into funky shapes.  I have seen some very neat & accurate work.  Great effort.

Our building site is making progress.  OUR WORKSHOP HAS WALLS!  Check it out.

Welcome to Multicraft 2015

Kia ora & welcome to Multicraft  2015.

I would like to start out with a great big thank you to students & staff at Avalon Intermediate for the warm welcome.  It has only been a week, & I am feeling part of the AIS whanau already.  I am looking forward to an exciting year with AIS & Client school students & a newly built workshop.
At the moment the Multicraft room is situated in Room 8.  This looks likely to continue until the end of Term 1.   We are all looking forward to the Technology & Art rooms being finished, & being able to get our workshops underway.
